The Bridge Community Venue is the hub for our work in the community and the base from which we operate. Zoê Homfray-Cooper oversees all of our work in the community and leads a fantastic team of volunteers who man the shop and café. There is also a soft play area for children. Our church offices are also situated upstairs at The Bridge.
Open hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 4:00pm
Closed on Saturdays and Sundays
We run a number of projects from The Bridge:
The Food Bank provides free food parcels to individuals or families who are in desperate need. They are referred to the Food Bank by a variety of agencies throughout Lincoln, and the Bridge is one of the main distribution points in the city.
Do you need some time out to talk?
A chance to evaluate what is going on in your life?
Come and see a Bridge Pastor:
- Fill out a booking form at the Bridge and place it in the Bridge Pastors post box.
- One of our team will contact you within the week and make an
appointment to meet.
Having the space to think, talk and share can be a powerful tool in working out what the next step in life can be.
Other community groups also use the Bridge for various activities and events. But there is so much more that we want to do! Ultimately, we see other ‘Bridges’ being established in other parts of Lincoln as this is a part of our vision; to see communities all over Lincoln touched by the love of God and His church.
You can keep up to date with the latest from the Bridge Community Venue on Facebook.
